As 2026 marks America’s 250th anniversary, Iron Mountain’s 75th, and Crozier’s 50th, Crozier was proud to attend and support a special Independence Day week event hosted by Iron Mountain at the New York Public Library.

Guests had the opportunity to view the New York Public Library’s landmark exhibit, “Declaring America: 1776 and Beyond,” which explores American history through rare archival materials, including Thomas Jefferson’s handwritten draft of the Declaration of Independence. The draft contains significant differences from the final text ratified on July 4, 1776, offering guests a closer look at the development of one of the nation’s founding documents.

The exhibit was funded by the Living Legacy Initiative, Iron Mountain’s philanthropic commitment to preserving and making cultural and historical information more accessible. For 75 years, Iron Mountain has served as a trusted guardian of what matters most, applying its expertise to help protect cultural heritage information and artifacts throughout the globe.

The celebration also included an elegant brunch, featuring insightful remarks from Iron Mountain President and CEO Bill Meaney on the vital importance of preserving global cultural heritage. In this monumental dual-anniversary year, we remain profoundly honored to protect the foundational stories, artifacts, and history that shape our future.
